Covington & Burling is opening a Boston office of seven lawyers anchored by Megan Gates, who joins from Mintz Levin, in a bid to bolster life sciences work.
Gates, with a quarter-century in biotech law, handles the structuring of capital-raising transactions on behalf of life sciences companies and others, and Securities and Exchange Commission reporting compliance matters, according to Covington.
