James Kim joined Cooley as a partner in its financial services enforcement and regulatory practice group and global litigation department in New York, the firm announced Thursday.
Kim represents fintechs and other financial institutions in challenging situations and defends federal and state regulatory investigations and enforcement matters, the firm said.
He joins from Troutman Pepper Locke.
