Tom Peabody joined Cooley as a special counsel in its global litigation department in Chicago, the firm announced Friday.
Peabody clerked for Judge Amy J. St. Eve on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and then the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He brings trial experience to the commercial litigation and white collar defense and investigations practices, the firm said.
He joins from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.
