Cooley Grows Comp and Benefits Practice With Bergmann, McCall

Michael Bergmann and Scott McCall have joined Cooley’s compensation and benefits practice as partners in Washington and San Diego respectively, the firm said Monday.

Bergmann counsels public and private companies on executive compensation, employee benefits and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) matters, and has experience advising clients in the context of mergers and acquisitions, according to Cooley.

McCall advises public and private companies in the tech and life sciences sectors on issues including equity compensation, bonus arrangements, and employment and severance agreements, and also has extensive corporate transactions experience, the firm said.
