Daniel Shamah has joined Cooley as a partner with the business restructuring practice and global litigation department in New York, the firm said Monday.
Shamah will focus on bankruptcy, insolvency, and lender liability matters at Cooley, according to the firm. He has advised public and private companies in restructuring and related litigation matters and represented major financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and hedge funds.
He co-chaired the bankruptcy litigation practice at O’Melveny & Myers. He was also a partner in the restructuring group.
