Condé Nast Looks to SoundCloud for Next General Counsel

Condé Nast, one of the world’s largest magazine publishers, said Wednesday that it has appointed Antonious Porch of SoundCloud Inc. as its new top lawyer.

Porch will join Condé Nast in February as general counsel and corporate secretary, the company said, with responsibility for overseeing all legal, business affairs, policy, and compliance matters. Porch had served as SoundCloud’s general counsel and chief diversity officer.

William Bowes, a London-based lawyer who had been Condé Nast’s general counsel since 2019, recently resigned from that role, as did two other senior executives, according to a report by Puck News.
