A female attorney, a Colorado law firm, and the firm’s male CEO-owner settled in principle her lawsuit alleging she was unlawfully fired while out on maternity leave.
The US District Court for the District of Colorado on Tuesday vacated all pending case deadlines in Alessandra Morales’ May 2021 suit against McDivitt Law Firm PC and Michael McDivitt. That came after the parties filed a notice of settlement with the court saying that they’d reached a settlement in principle on all claims in the case.
