Cole Schotz Hires Baker Botts IP Litigator Williams in Dallas

James Williams joined Cole Schotz as a member in its litigation and intellectual property departments in Dallas, the firm announced Monday.

Williams develops and executes strategies to assist clients in intellectual property and commercial litigation matters. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants, including in multi-claim and multi-jurisdictional competitor disputes, and he represents patent owners and petitioners in disputes before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the firm said.

He joins from Baker Botts.
