Coffee Machine Maker Gets Right-to-Repair Suit Dismissed

Coffee machine maker De Longhi America Inc. convinced a federal court to dismiss a suit over repair restrictions in warranties for its products.

The customer who sued hadn’t alleged a concrete injury since he never shipped his malfunctioning coffee maker for repairs or violated the terms of its warranty, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said on Wednesday.
