London-based Clyde & Co. has acquired Tillman Batchelor, a six-lawyer insurance litigation firm based in Dallas, extending a steady pace for consolidations in the legal industry.
The move expands Clyde & Co.'s presence in the Texas market while Tillman Batchelor gains access to the larger firm’s network of more than 1,800 lawyers.
“This merger further reinforces our position as the leader in insurance coverage litigation in the US and globally,” Carolena Gordon, Clyde & Co.'s senior partner, said in a Thursday statement.
