Clifford Chance Names M&A Partner Wilde as New Leader in Houston

Clifford Chance on Tuesday named Alexandra Wilde, a corporate M&A partner, as managing partner in the Houston office as the firm plans to expand in Texas.

Wilde, who has worked for the UK firm since it opened the Houston post in 2023, will succeed Devika Kornbacher, wholeft last month to join an Austin boutique now known as Huggins Reddien Kornbacher.

“We’ve made a lot of inroads with existing and new client relationships, and frankly seen a fantastic growth trajectory through our Houston office, and we’d like to continue on that momentum,” Wilde said in an interview.
