Cleary, Ropes Help Sixth Street Invest in Audax-Backed Emplifi

Cleary Gottlieb represented Sixth Street Growth on its investment in Emplifi Inc., a platform for customer experience and social marketing.

Ropes & Gray advised Emplifi on the investment, which also included participation from LionTree LLC merchant bank and which brings Emplifi’s valuation to more than $1 billion, according to a statement.

Audax Private Equity will remain Emplifi’s majority owner after the investment, the statement said.

Emplifi said it has a customer base of 7,000 global brands as customers, including Delta Air Lines Inc., Ford Motor Co., McDonald’s Corp., and Major League Soccer, for its platform with tools for social marketing, ...
