John Mahon joined Cleary Gottlieb as a partner in its global funds group in Washington, DC, the firm announced Monday.
Mahon focuses on the evolving landscape of permanent capital retail investment vehicles, including their formation and operation. He represents private equity firms, credit managers, and other market participants in fund formation, capital markets, and securities law matters, including public and private offerings of business development companies, closed-end funds, interval funds, and other alternative vehicles, the firm said.
He joins from Proskauer Rose, according to his LinkedIn profile.
