Curtis Doty has joined Chapman and Cutler’s corporate and securities department as a partner in the New York office, the firm said Thursday.
Doty, also a member of Chapman’s banking and financial services department, focuses on advising financial institutions on new product development and approvals, transaction structuring, regulatory issues under the Dodd-Frank Act, and netting and regulatory capital analysis, according to the firm.
His practice also includes issues surrounding credit risk transfer, derivatives-based hedging and funding transactions for bank treasury groups, collateral arrangements for derivatives, and foreign exchange prime brokerage, the firm said.
