Cassady Brewer joined Carlton Fields as a shareholder in its business transactions practice in Atlanta, the firm announced Tuesday.

Brewer focuses on tax law and business transactions, with a focus on the intersection of tax-exempt organizations and for-profit enterprises, the firm said.

He joins from Georgia State University College of Law, where he was a tenured professor of law.
