Carlton Fields Brings On Jayashree Mitra as IP Shareholder in NY

Jayashree Mitra has joined Carlton Fields as a shareholder with the intellectual property practice in New York, the firm said Tuesday.

She focuses her practice on patent litigation, representing clients in federal court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the International Trade Commission, according to Carlton Fields. Mitra handles patent litigation such as Hatch-Waxman actions, inter partes review, post-grant review proceedings, and trade secret disputes.

Mitra, who practiced as a partner at Fox Rothschild, has expertise in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cannabis, psychedelics, and emerging technology sectors, Carlton Fields said.
