California Lawmakers Press Sable Offshore CEO for Trump Records

Sable Offshore Corp.'s top executive is being asked to share details about his ties with President Donald Trump and the administration with California lawmakers who voiced concerns that political donations led to federal orders restarting the company’s pipeline system.

Sens. Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla, along with former house speaker Nancy Pelosi and eight other representatives, sent a letter to Jim Flores Wednesday asking the CEO and chairman of the Houston-based oil company to outline his relationship and communications with the Department of Energy and with Trump.
