California Bar’s Bid to Nix Data Breach Lawsuit Meets Opposition

The State Bar of California’s bid to dismiss a proposed class action levied against it over a recent data breach should be disregarded, plaintiffs are arguing in California federal court.

The invasion of privacy and antitrust claims are adequately pleaded, their attorney wrote in an opposition to the motion to dismiss filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
