Cadwalader Recruits Laura Perkins as Investigations Partner

Laura Perkins joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft as a partner in its compliance, investigations, and enforcement practice in Washington, the firm announced Monday.

Perkins focuses on high-stakes government and internal investigations, crisis management, white collar criminal defense, cross-border compliance counseling, risk assessments and due diligence, and national security and sanctions issues, the firm said.

She assists corporations, boards of directors, audit committees, and senior executives with sensitive internal investigations and proceedings before the Justice Department, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other US and international agencies, with a focus on FCPA/anti-corruption, financial fraud, sanctions violations, and money laundering.
