Sidley Austin is picking up a 14-lawyer real estate finance group from Cadwalader as the firm continues to execute on its expansion plans in the Big Apple.
Bonnie Neuman, head of Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft’s real estate finance group, joined Sidley along with partners Melissa Hinkle, Nicholas Brandfon, and Molly Lovedale. Counsel Andrea Weitzman and 9 associates will join them, the firm announced today. Bloomberg Law first reported on the four-partner defection to Sidley earlier this month.
