Cadwalader Grows Restructuring Team Ahead of Merger With Hogan

Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft bolstered its financial restructuring practice ahead of its merger with Hogan Lovells by adding two partners who focus on creditor-side representation.

Shai Schmidt joins as a partner in New York from Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes, having represented lender groups in the restructurings of Quest Software, Tropicana Brands Group, and Saks Global. Jakeob Brown joins as a partner in the London office, having served as a counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
