Cadwalader Fund Finance Pair Jumps to DLA Piper in New York

Katie McShane and Jonny Byrne-Leitch joined DLA Piper in its leveraged finance practice, with McShane tapped as head of east coast fund finance, the firm said Thursday.

McShane joins from Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft, where she became partner earlier this month. She advises banks and other alternative lenders on fund finance transactions, focusing on subscription credit facilities, according to DLA Piper.

Byrne-Leitch, who was promoted to counsel at Cadwlader earlier this month, joins DLA Piper in a similar role. He advises both bank and non-bank lenders in the fund finance market, according to the firm.
