Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Adds Co-Lead to Cybersecurity Group

Michael McLaughlin has joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a principal in the government relations practice and will co-lead the cybersecurity and data privacy practice group in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.

McLaughlin previously worked as a naval intelligence officer in the United States Navy where he advised technology-driven enterprises and multinational teams in solving national security challenges, according to Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.

While in the military he served at multiple postings, including senior counterintelligence advisor for US cyber command and chief of counterintelligence and human intelligence for the cyber national mission force, said the firm.
