Buchanan Ingersoll Adds Chicago Office With 17 From Locke Lord

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is launching a Chicago office as part of a 17-lawyer addition from Locke Lord, which finalized a merger this week.

The group is a “significant addition” to the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice group, Buchanan said Friday. Leading the Chicago office will be Locke Lord partner and former executive committee member Michael Gaertner, who previously co-chaired Locke Lord’s business litigation and arbitration practice group, the firm said in a statement.
