Buchalter Hires H. James Abe as IP Shareholder in Los Angeles

H. James Abe joined Buchalter as an intellectual property shareholder in Los Angeles, the firm announced Monday.

Fluent in Japanese, Abe counsels many Japanese companies on their US legal needs and regularly represents them in litigation. He also serves as outside general counsel to U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese companies, advising on contract matters, regulatory compliance, and labor and employment issues, the firm said.

He previously worked at Alston & Bird, according to his LinkedIn profile.
