Renato Mariotti has joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner as a partner in the litigation and investigations practice in Chicago, the law firm said Monday.
Mariotti, who joins from Thompson Coburn, focuses on commodities and securities issues, according to Bryan Cave.
He also served as a federal prosecutor in the securities and commodities fraud section of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois for nine years, during which he was the lead prosecutor in the United States v. Michael Coscia case, the firm said.
