Broidy’s Suit Against Qatar Over Alleged Hacks Tossed on Appeal

A lawsuit brought against Qatar by Broidy Capital Management LLC for an alleged scheme to hack the Los Angeles-based investment firm can’t be resurrected because of a lack of jurisdiction under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, the Ninth Circuit ruled Wednesday.
