Eugene R. Elrod has joined Bracewell as a partner in the energy regulatory group in the Washington, D.C. office, the firm said Wednesday.
He counsels and represents owners of energy assets in the oil, natural gas, and power sectors on complex regulatory matters and commercial issues, according to Bracewell.
Elrod also advises on regulatory issues that come about in large-scale mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and capital markets offerings, said the firm.
He joins from Latham & Watkins.
