A former employee of the city of Boston sued Mayor Michelle Wu and the city, alleging they orchestrated her firing to protect a city hall official accused of misconduct and avoid resulting damage to her campaign.
Marwa Khudaynazar, who worked in the city’s police accountability office, said in the Massachusetts Superior Court lawsuit that she refused sexual advances from Wu’s chief of economic opportunity and inclusion, Segun Idowu, when they met at a bar in May.
