Booz Allen Loses Protest Over Rejected VA Health Assessment Bid

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.'s protest of a $12 million agreement between the Department of Veterans Affairs and Guidehouse, Inc. to provide market area assessments of the agency’s healthcare networks was denied by the Government Accountability Office.

Booz Allen’s protest stemmed from the establishment of a blanket-purchase agreement and the issuance of a call order with competitor Guidehouse, over its bid and those from two other large management consultancies including the Big Four behemoth Deloitte Consulting LLP. Call orders typically are created to cover multiple supplies or deliveries from a single company.
