Critics of former Attorney General Pam Bondi are asking The Florida Bar to investigate alleged ethical violations during her tenure leading the Justice Department.
The complaint, filed with the state ethics regulator Wednesday, alleges Bondi created an environment in which federal prosecutors were told to engage in unethical actions or face termination; violated disclosure requirements for documents related to deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein; violated court orders “in dozens of cases;" and encouraged prosecutors to bring shoddy cases to pursue President Donald Trump’s perceived political enemies.
