Douglas Miller joined Boies Schiller Flexner as a partner in its securities litigation and global investigations and white collar defense practices in Los Angeles, the firm announced Thursday.
Miller most recently served as supervisory trial counsel in the SEC’s Los Angeles Regional Office, overseeing all securities litigation covering Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and Guam. He previously worked as an Assistant US Attorney for the Central District of California, handling regulatory investigations, federal civil litigation and white-collar criminal prosecutions, the firm said.
He joins from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
