Blake Goebel has joined Boies Schiller Flexner as a partner in the global investigations and white collar group in Washington, the firm said Wednesday.
Goebel joins from the US Justice Department’s fraud section, where he served as a trial attorney, according to the firm.
He has experience in handling financial fraud cases and was a part of the team on the first jury trial to stem from the DOJ’s foreign exchange investigation, said the firm. He was a litigation associate at Katten Muchin in Chicago before joining the department.
