Boeing Names New Human Resources Chief as Labor Talks Loom

Boeing Co. named a new head of human resources, elevating a fast-rising lawyer into a key leadership role as the planemaker embarks on its most important labor negotiations in more than a decade.

Uma Amuluru, who has been vice president and general counsel at Boeing’s defense and space unit since early 2023, becomes chief human resources officer on April 1, the company said Thursday in a statement. She replaces Michael D’Ambrose, who will retire in July after running Boeing’s global human resources since 2020.
