Blitzer Family Office Appoints Soccer Lawyer as General Counsel

Bolt Ventures, the sports-focused family office of billionaire dealmaker David Blitzer, has named a new general counsel in Michelle Hull Hyncik.

Hyncik’s new role, which she took up within the last month, has her overseeing legal matters for the personal portfolio of investments assembled by Blitzer. A longtime executive at buyout giant Blackstone Inc., Blitzer recently relinquished day-to-day leadership of the company’s tactical opportunities group.

Hyncik spent the past decade working in Major League Soccer and the National Women’s Soccer League after beginning her career as an associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr and Paul Hastings. She ...
