Lucas Peterson and Ryan Fitzpatrick joined Blank Rome as patent attorneys in the intellectual property and technology group, the firm announced Thursday. Peterson joined the Chicago office, while Fitzpatrick joined the Dallas office.
Peterson advises clients on patent prosecution, portfolio development, and intellectual property strategies across advanced technologies. He prepares and prosecutes US and international patent applications, conducts patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supports IP litigation involving trademarks, copyrights, and design patents.
Fitzpatrick focuses his practice on patent prosecution and IP strategy, working with inventors, engineers, and in-house legal teams to protect innovations in mechanical, electromechanical, and software-related technologies. He ...
