Blank Rome Adds Five-Partner Hospitality Team in California

Jim Butler, David Sudeck, Mark Adams, Jeff Myers, and Joe Mellema joined Blank Rome as partners, the firm announced Monday.

Butler, Sudeck, and Myers joined the real estate group and hospitality practice in the Los Angeles office, while Adams and Mellema joined the business litigation group, hospitality practice, and real estate industry team in the Orange County office.

Butler is regarded as one of the nation’s most accomplished hotel lawyers, with a career dedicated to hospitality law. He founded and chaired a leading hospitality team that advised on thousands of hotel transactions and complex litigation worldwide, the firm said.
