Blackstone Lawyer Jumps to Davis Polk Investment Management Role

Oran Ebel left Blackstone after more than a decade to join Davis Polk as a partner in New York, the law firm announced Tuesday.

Ebel previously was a managing director in Blackstone’s legal and compliance group and deputy general counsel of Blackstone Credit, according to Davis Polk. He joined the firm’s investment management practice, where he will use his experience in private credit, regulated funds, and private funds, the firm said.
