Several Big Law firms have a hand in a new $10 billion deal for Sycamore Partners to buy drugstore chain Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc.
The deal, which would take Walgreens private, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
Lawyers from Kirkland & Ellis and Ropes & Gray advised Walgreens. Wall Street’s Davis, Polk & Wardwell and Tennessee firm Bass Berry & Sims guided Sycamore Partners.
