New York City mayoral candidates are turning to law firms for campaign cash, racing to dig into the deep pockets of the country’s largest legal market before the June Democratic primary.
Early frontrunner Andrew Cuomo scored a March 24 fundraiser from a Jenner & Block partner in his roughly two-week-old campaign, according to an invitation viewed by Bloomberg Law. Tickets to the affair in tony Brooklyn Heights are going for up to $2,100.
