Biden’s Regulations Lead Wins Support from Two GOP Senators (1)

A key Senate committee approved President Joe Biden‘s choice for White House regulations chief, after two senior Republicans crossed party lines to move his nomination forward.

The Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee voted 9-2 Wednesday to send law professor Ricky Revesz’s nomination to the full Senate. Ranking member Rob Portman (R-Ohio), who is retiring, and James Lankford (Okla.) sided with committee Democrats.
