Beyond Meat Inc. told investors that its costs are poised to rise under new tariffs hitting pea protein it purchases from Canada.
The maker of “plant-based” meat substitutes said in its 10-K annual report to shareholders that the new tariffs, or any countermeasures taken by other countries, might force the company “to raise our prices or increase inventory levels, or find new sources of supply for products that we import.”
