Berkshire Hathaway Pivots From Longtime Law Firm for Bond Sale

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has moved some legal work to Baker McKenzie, which last year raided Warren Buffett’s go-to law firm.

Baker McKenzie is representing Berkshire’s finance arm in potential bond sales, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Judith Kitano, one of 17 lawyers who joined Baker from Munger Tolles & Olson last April, is Berkshire’s legal counsel, the filing showed.
