BCLP Adds Former Assistant US Attorney Emmet Ong as Partner

Emmet Ong joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner as a partner in its financial services disputes and investigations practice in San Francisco, the firm announced Thursday.

Ong joins from the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, where he was as an assistant US attorney in the Civil Division, the firm said.

As an AUSA, he acted as lead counsel for the United States and its agencies in nearly 100 civil actions and investigations, including overseeing numerous health care, procurement, and Covid-19 relief fraud investigations under the False Claims Act, the firm said.
