Barnes & Thornburg Recruits D.C. White Collar Partner Laporte

Margot Laporte joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in its white collar team, the firm announced Monday.

Laporte, who joins from Dorsey & Whitney, focuses on cross-border internal and regulatory investigations, white-collar criminal defense, securities enforcement matters, and regulatory compliance. She has represented global public companies, boards of directors, audit committees and financial institutions, the firm said.
