Barnes & Thornburg Gains Gavant as Chicago Restructuring Partner

Aaron Gavant has joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the finance, insolvency, and restructuring department in Chicago, the law firm said Tuesday.

The former Mayer Brown partner focuses on traditional in-court and out-of-court restructurings as well as special situations within the structured finance space, according to Barnes & Thornburg.

Gavant works with institutional lenders, syndicated bank groups, and other credit and equity on distress scenarios as part of his traditional restructuring practice.
