Barnes & Thornburg Builds Out New York City Corporate Practice

Brantley Hawkins joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in its private funds and investment management practice in New York City along with two associates, the firm announced Tuesday.

Hawkins focuses his practice on private funds and investment management and advises fund sponsors and investment managers, financial institutions, large institutional investors, and other entities. He also served as in-house counsel for hedge fund manager Two Sigma Investments, where he provided fund formation and regulatory guidance, the firm said.

He joins from Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres.
