Katie Mills and Ryan Mitchell joined Barnes & Thornburg as corporate partners, the firm announced Monday. Mills joined the Los Angeles office while Mitchell joined the Dallas office.
Mills focuses on compliance, anti-money laundering, financial institution regulatory issues, fintech products, digital assets and cryptocurrency regulations. She previously served as head of the financial crime advisory at Modulr Finance and has led the design and implementation of analytical compliance frameworks for digital assets and fintech payment companies.
