Barnes & Thornburg Adds FDA Veteran to DC Health Care Practice

Seth Mailhot joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in its health care and life sciences practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced Monday.

Mailhot advises clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, and consumer product sectors on FDA regulatory matters, including premarket approvals and GMP compliance. He also counsels on digital health, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms in diagnostic medical devices, and transactions involving FDA-regulated entities, the firm said.

He joins from the Food and Drug Administration where he worked as an investigator, compliance officer and regulatory researcher.
