BakerHostetler Guides Sky Peak on Machining Company Transactions

BakerHostetler advised Sky Peak Capital on the New England-based private equity firm’s acquisition of Hicks Machine Inc., a 70-year-old company that provides tight-tolerance precision machining services.

BakerHostetler also advised Sky Peak on the formation of Excelus Manufacturing Solutions, a holding company for the private equity firm’s precision machining company acquisitions. To date, those include Walpole, New Hampshire-based Hicks and Claremont, New Hampshire-based Jarvis Machine, which it acquired in January, again with legal counseling from BakerHostetler, according to a statement.

No financial details were disclosed for the transactions.
